I myself am actually surprised that I wasn’t able to update this blog for almost a month now. A lot has happened in the last month. Stress just kept on piling up and up and up; from school related, work, and even emotional stress. And the worst part of all this is that I often turn to comfort food when I’m stressed out… And that resulted to me gaining LOTS of weight! Oh well, just gotta exercise more and go back to my diet.
This was during the Filipino Fiesta in Morwell, Victoria last November that I attended as part of my beauty queen duties (I still blush and giggle every time I say/type that 🙂 tihee). Moving on, I decided to take this corporate chic dress out for a spin, but translated it into “AJ Language” 😀
For this look, I decided to do two things that are out of my styling norm: checkered and print on print. I’ve always been uneasy of checkered and plaid because I’m worried of being branded as “The Walking Tablecloth”. So, in the 17 years of my life, I’ve tried to stay clear of these prints to the best that I can. For print on print, you could say that it’s a rarity. You see, I’m still quite new to this “coherently styling myself” thing and I’m still learning matching prints with other prints, but don’t worry I think I’m getting the hang of it 😀 Yay! (slow silent claps for AJ! :D)
WARNING! This look was inspired by horror. Haha! 😀
Let’s talk zombie. If ever a zombie apocalypse do occur on Earth, this is what I would wear (if fashion is still manageable with all the chaos). If you’re thinking “Resident Evil much”, yes this is an effect of Resident Evil: Retribution on me 😀
I think one thing you should know about me is that I don’t frequently go out – I am actually the type to hit the books more often as you could possibly imagine – hence the irregular outfit posts. Yes, I could create different looks at home and just have a photo shoot, but that would render this blog pointless. It’s because I want to inspire people with outfits that I am confident with and would definitely wear outside my home, and photo shoots like that would more likely not help my intentions. Well, on to my outfit…
